I would like to see if the widow benefits are more on my 1st husband who recently passed away in February. I am now receiving benefits on my 2nd deceased husband. I would be glad to come in and show all the paperwork I have pertaining to this matter.

We recently moved to Florida and we are trying to find out how we go about getting our Social Security checks automatically deposited into out Bank here and not in our Bank in Pa.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Cordially

I have called the local SSA office in Leesburg, Florida 12 times since January to get a corrected 1099 for the year 2020. I have received numerous reasons why they have not processed it from "they have more important claims to process," to "it will be processed when they issue the 2021 1099's," to "the over stated amount will be subtracted from the 2021's 1099". I have asked to make an appointment to talk with a supervisor and was told I cannot talk to a supervisor. All I want is a corrected 1099 for the year 2020 to file an amended return to get back the money I overpaid in taxes. Why is this so hard to do. Because this is taking so long will I be able to charge the SSA late fees and interest on monies owed to me? To me, the Leesburg office needs a lot more training on how to process claims and how the processing of claims interacts with other divisions.

How can you verify who you are giving benefits to if you don't see them and check their documents? Seems like a great way for scamming SSA.

I spoke with a "gentleman" in the Leesburg office on phone trying to get a reset code for the temporary password I had received in the mail. The man turned on me like an meth addict on withdrawal. He was rude, condescending and cut me off before I could answer any of his questions. I will always remember to get the name of the SS representative I talk to from here on out before I discuss anything with them. I am a patient and kind person who would never even consider talking to anyone the way this representative talked to me. His behavior was both inappropriate and unacceptable.

Would like a review of my ability to receive SS benefits. I am 81 yrs old, still working, have all 40 qtrs, and receive federal retirement.

I just spoke with Mrs. Robinson regarding a discrepancy in a deduction for my Medicare Prescription Drug Plan. My call went through without a long wait and she was able to solve my problem. She is very professional and an asset to your organization. Thank you.

I need for my wife and myself the 2016 explanation of benefits including the monthly deduction for Medicare. Thanks for your help.

Called to make appointment and was told I could not unless I was filing that day for benefits. When you call and get difference answers for the same question you should be able to talk in person.
