I have been trying to call Pensacola with number they gave me, the number on the website is the same--after long wait--2 days ago went to another Port Lucie, today it went to Panama city. She gave me another for Pensacola with no options except to put an extension or name in--I don't know those! I am supposed to interview for turning 65. The music is absolutely awful--lots of static--sounds like scratchy record--occasional relief when a voice speaks and talks. Going to search more. Already an hour of this awful sound/music and still waiting... The first number they gave me was "no longer in use" call the 2nd number. When the P.C. lady gave a new number that is the loop of hell. Trying 4th number....This is horrible.

My husband just arrived on Dec 15, 2019. He is immigrating and we would like to know the process so he can get his social security number. We already pay for his greencard on the 17th but he doesn't have it yet.

I have called twice and was put on the call back list. I have not once received a call back. hard to reach. not a good response when they say they are going to send something out to you

Given the volume of work that these guys deal with and the fact that they are a government agency, I think the Pensacola office does very well. I've waited hours like most others and have seen the employees handle complaints and verbal abuse far better than most. It's a shame the private sector isn't allowed to improve their efficiency, but that's not their fault.

The phone number you have listed on the Pensacola. FL Social Security Office...this is a horrible inconvenience. It would be a great service to the community to correct this problem. It is inexcusable.
