The Rockford ssa is thus far, the worst Ssa office ever. The female staff is rude as ever. There's no consideration or compassion for the claimants. I visited the office on 3-22-19. Approximately 12:30. Surprisingly the office was not crowded at all. It was not even ten people in there. Before my name was called I knew there was was going to be a problem. I was told that I couldn't speak with a claims rep for two hours. Im in dire need right now due to an eviction. I was told that my eviction notice wouldn't matter. Every since I had to deal with Rockford Ssa its been a big problem. I'd rather deal with another office than Rockford. They feed you lie after lie just to pacify your curiosity. The claim rep that's handling my case isn't and hasn't done a good job. I had to call the 800 just to find out some information. I was receiving benefits and working. They knew that I was working. So, as of now I'm no longer working. I haven't worked in a month and they still will not reinstatement my benefits. I also have a dire needs issue. Unfortunately they do not care about that. This is truly sad and unethical to say the least!!!!!!!
