Overall rating of this office:My wife and I applied for SS at your Egg Harbor Township office back in February of this year ( I am 66 and my wife Margot is 81). As we were applying for our SS your agent reviewed originals of our marriage certificate (of 32-yrs) and birth certificates and we left assuming all would be OK. But when our first SS checks arrived, my wife's was in her maiden name, 'Margot L. Sierra' still! Despite reviewing and photocopying our 32-yr. old marriage certificate, SSA is still using my wife's maiden name on her monthly SS payments. Why wasn't her named changed to her married name when we applied and what, now, do we have to do to correct this matter in the most timely manner?? Also, I tried to apply for a 'My SS Acct.' but was, so far, rejected!?
Would like to hear from you very soon with opinion and guidance on this frustration and disappointment.

People working at the window don't wanna work there. I went to report a simple change. It took two visits of early mornings and two callouts from work. Yet, no solution because they didn't feel like putting in effort. For the first visit at 9AM, the answer I got after waiting an hour was "You will have to come here at 8'o clock in the morning to report this change." Next day, I get there at 7:45 AM and waited outside in cold till doors open up at 8:30 AM and get called at the window by 9AM even though I am third person in line. "You can either schedule an appointment 45 days from now, wait all day but no guarantee to be called, or come back at 8'o clock in the morning." DUDE I WAS HERE AT 7:45AM IN LINE. I reported a change in the past and its two minute thing. I could tell very well he is taking forever to report a simple change. Employees there will never put an extra ounce of effort to help you. I bet elder people will give 1 star if they start reviewing on Google. The only reason why this place has 3 stars is because of employees.
