Is there anyway to change you date for receipt of the benefit check to the 1st of every month.

Could you please e-mail me and/or call me this evening or sometime tomorrow (thursday), because I will be taking my file to the social security office on Friday and meeting with someone. I refuse to see Ms. Marshall. I treat with respect and I deserve the same.

I was sent a letter from social security that stated that if I wanted to appeal or file for a waiver, ( especially if I meet the requirements stated on my form)...(and I do.).

However I had a due date to present these forms on 2/16/2015. This was a National Federal Holiday. The Friday preceding 2/16 was Feb. 13th on Friday. I spoke with a representative to make sure if I brought the forms on Tuesday that it would suffice and meet the requirement date, as Social security gives a 5 day (business days) extension to file. So........I had completed all that was required and went to the social security office in Concord. I called first to be sure they were open and the recording stated that they would open on a delayed time, and that would be 11:00 am, and they close at 3:00 pm. I don't have a driver's license, nor a vehicle, so I obtained transportation and came on 2/17/15 like the representative told me to. The office was closed again due to bad weather conditions. I talked with Social today, Wednesday with Ms. Terri Marshall 2/18/15/ She told me to go ahead and bring the forms in on this coming Friday, Feb/ 20th and they wouldn't count them as late, due to the weather and the Federal Holiday. However, she made it CLEAR there was no use to file anything because it IS going to be denied and turned down. Your letter that you sent me TELLS me to file a waiver form and an appeal form, if I do not agree. It also states that I did something wrong un knowingly and this debt will create a hardship on me and I will not be able to provide, housing, clothing, medications, co-pays for physicians, and other obligations, that if would be waived. Those were the two requirements on your letter sent to me. I did not do anything wrong that I was aware of. I followed the rules my attorney gave me regarding SSI and purchasing a life estate to the letter. I paid him for this advice, so something like this would not happen. My most concerned complaint today is when I spoke with Ms. Terri Marshall in the Concord office. She was very abrupt, told me I was wasting my time to file these forms. I was wasting time, because her words were.."I can tell you right now, you WILL be denied."......If my requests are reviewed by Ms. Marshall, I probably will be denied. She will not listen to the facts that I tell her that explains that I didn't do anything wrong. She is rude, talks over me, and in fact hung up on me today on the phone. That is not the first time. She will NOT listen to the factual information that I have to tell her. She talks over me ,and over me and repeats, that she is going by the guidelines of SSI......She repeats this over me trying to tell her something important that SOCIAL SECURITY NEEDS TO KNOW, to clear up what really happened and what I did. I am certain it will be waived if someone will look at my papers th is coming Friday. However, I do not want Ms. Marshall to have anything else further to do with my case. I think we now have a negative personality conflict and it will effect the final decision.
thank you
