Social Security Office Locations

I have made a check for a overpayment in dec. in which they stopped my deposits in nov but I cant get any info on when my deposits will start again. Will they prorate when it starts again? So now they have a VERY large sum of backpayments, as instructed but still no deposits.

Called Mid-Atlantic Program office at approximately 2:25 pm on 9/11/20 requesting information concerning calculation of prorated amount of lump sum distribution of $71,807 received in 2003 from state teachers retirement.. Client was age 54 at the time.

She has now received a letter from you stating that this is a prorated amount of $853 monthly.

I have another client considering receiving a lump sum distribution from a non-social security employer. Wanted to know possible future effects.

Method of calculation is all that I needed.

The agent was very RUDE and hung up.

I keep getting mail for my "deceased" granddaughter! I've returned all mail asking to be removed from the mailing list but continue receiving these documents!

How do I verify if an "SSA" email is truly from an SSA employee? I am trying the OIG now, but suspect leaving my SSN at some emailed phone number is not too smart. The address given was only a PO Box in Philadelphia, located close to this office. Please let me know. Thanks.
