Social Security Office Locations

We visited the Mckinney office of social security today 8/25/17.
The seating area was 80% full. Everyone was quiet and respectful. A young Asian man came in and his phone rang. The security officer was in his "box" and choose to hollar , startling everyone with " turn that ringer off!!!"
The young man wa shaken but complied.
My phone went off for one ring as I was turning the ringer off and the security guy hollared at me " get off that phone"
- I did not appreciate his la k of respect and being a bully. I told him I was tryouts ngbyobgurn off the right Get and he hollared " no phone use!". I said " rather than being d rude and hollaring , why dint you out a super gun on the door Stating no phones, along with the other posts". His response was " I am telling you no phones I don't need a single Hm and this is a federal place and he told me if I kept questioning him I could leave. I said you mean you are go No tobtell me to leave for questioning you and his said it was my choice.. I hushed and the people mur muted about his rudeness. The security officer tested us like degenerates as if he was a jailer. We will never be back there again and this security guy is an ass.

My wife and I visited the McKinney office on March 16, 2017 to file for social security for her based upon my social security (i.e.up to 50%) and received a monthly payment about $200 which was less than the 50%. There was no explanation of the calculation. I have called the McKinney office and left messages but no one has returned my calls. This has been going on since May 23, 2017. On May 23, 2017 I spoke to a representative in the McKinney office and she attempted to calculate the corrct amount and thought that it should be close to 50%. She said we would need to come into the office to get someone to caculate the correct amount. I appealed to her to get someone to do the calculation and call us as my wife is 78 years old and has parkinson. She insisted we come to the office. We did come to the office on June 2, 2017 but the lady we spoke to could not calculate the correct amount. She said that she or another lady would call us later that day or the next day. No call has been received. I am going to file a formal appeal because no one will return my phone messages or the next. To date neither have called in spite of me leaving follow up messages in their voice mail. I am very disappointed in this public service office.I consulted with the National Office of Social Security and they suggested I file the appeal and send it to the Southwest District Manager with a letter explaining my difficulties in getting answers from the McKinney office.
