I had to bring my mother to the Midlothian SS office today in order to make an address change. She is paralyzed on her right side, wheelchair bound, requires assistance for all activities. her presence is required in order to make these changes. We arrived at the office, it takes some time and effort to get the wheelchair out of the car, get her transferred into the wheelchair, not to mention the windy conditions and 30 something degree temperature, we are parked right at the front door, as we get to the door the security guard literally closes the door in our faces stating we close at 12 on Wednesdays. It is 12 noon on the dot! There is no way he could not have seen us going through the motions to get out of the car! At the very least come out and told us they were closing! No customer service here!not to mention rude! There's my government at it's best?
