Overall rating of this office:My appointment was at 2:00 pm Jan. 22,2020, they called me at 3:50 pm that day, did not finish my interview ,and was told that I will receive a phone call next day in the morning. well is 3:30 pm and no phone call yet. they act like is their money to help me. also they need to be more courteous to us. not so hateful.
This is my second attempt to contact SS office . I wrote a complaint and the whole thing was wiped out . The SS people need to be more flexible and courteous to the person they are talking too.
Called the SS office after 1 hour wait someone came on the line and I started to tell them why I am calling about and the man was very rude. Didn't let me finish explaining to him why I called . So he got off the line and than no one was there for me to continue the conversation, a dial tone came on. I also called again and wait time was 1 hour and all I wanted was to this time around make an appointment for my local office to go in. Didn't see any place on line where I can make the appointment.

I JUST REC'D A CALL FROM SOCIAL SECURITY (RECORDED MSG) 202/599-0649 SAYING MY SSN WAS IN JEOPARDY AND TO CALL IMMEDIATELY. IS THIS A SCAM? I'VE BEEN SCAMMED MANY TIMES! I AM AN 80 YR OLD WIDOW LIVING ALONE ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET. SHOULD I CALL THAT NUMBER BACK? HOW TO CONTACT SOC SEC -- GOOD QUESTION -- ? ? ? THANKS.
The telephone No.1-800-722-1213 for the Sos. Sec. office in Tampa, is not in service any more.I have been trying to communicate with this office for weeks with no results.
