I have called 4 times now and received no help with my situation. Each time I am not given time to explain the problem I have and am either hung up on or transferred to a voicemail box.

The representatives don’t seem to listen or believe me and don’t look at my case files. I have applied for SSI/SSDI, been denied, appealed, and have been granted SSI, but *not* SSDI. Nonetheless, I have received a letter saying I will be receiving SSDI and another saying my SSI will be reduced due to the SSDI payment. Based on the appeals judge’s written decision, my lawyer and I both agree that I did not win SSDI and as such don’t feel comfortable accepting the payments.

I am worried that accepting these payments despite losing the case will be considered fraud, but the representatives have dismissed me. I am still unable to resolve this and I can’t even receive my SSI until this is fixed.

I had a very negative experience with the calls I placed with the Pottstown SSA and my situation is still not resolved.
